Coffee Morning in aid of Blackrock Hospice Cancer Patient Support

Kay Goggins organised a fundraising coffee morning in memory of her daughter who she saddly lost to cancer earlier this year, leaving three young children.

Sabrina Keaveney from the Hospice opened the event and said that Kay was one of their top fundraisers and held one of the best coffee mornings in South County Dublin last year raising over €2.000.

This years event looked sure to follow with over 100 people attending to give their support for Kay. Tea, Coffee and scones were served and Kay had organised a raffle with exciting prizes which she had gathered on her trip to Spain.

The event was lively with much laughter and the funds will help towards the Hospices current project of building a new Palliative Care Unit.
